Founding clients
Founding offer terms
The first five businesses to sign up to Presence, Growth or Full Visibility pay a founding price for their first six months. Here is exactly how that works.
Who it is for
New clients who sign an agreement for one of the three ongoing plans: Presence, Growth or Full Visibility. Places go to the first five signed agreements, in the order they are signed. Clients already working with me before these terms began, and businesses I own, don’t take a place.
What you pay
A founding price for your first six monthly invoices: Presence $1,100 (saving $150 a month), Growth $2,100 (saving $350 a month) or Full Visibility $2,800 (saving $450 a month), plus GST. From the seventh invoice, the standard monthly fee applies: the standard price on the day you signed, which can change only as your agreement allows, with 60 days’ notice. I’ll remind you two months before it changes, in time to stop at the end of your six months if you’d like to.
Six months, not three
Because the first six months are at the founding price, a founding plan runs for at least six months instead of three. After that it is month to month on 30 days’ notice, which you can give at any time: the plan ends when the notice period or the first six months end, whichever is later.
The Diagnostic credit
If you had a Diagnostic, its $750 credit comes off your seventh, eighth and ninth invoices ($250 each) instead of the first three, so the founding price and the credit follow one another rather than overlap. It is still credited in full: if your plan ends before the ninth invoice, what’s left comes off your last invoice.
What it covers
The plan’s own monthly price only. Extra locations and any modules added to the plan are at the standard price. It does not apply to custom plans, the Diagnostic, projects, extra work quoted by the hour ($150 an hour plus GST), advertising spend, or third-party costs such as software or domains. The $250 referral thank-you still applies.
What I ask in return
Permission to write up your results as a short case study. You see and approve every word before it is published anywhere, and you can ask me to leave out your name or any figure. I only publish figures that have been measured. If you decide you’d rather not be written up, it isn’t published, and your founding price doesn’t change. A Google review is entirely your choice and is never a condition of the offer.
If the plan ends early
A founding plan can end inside its first six months only for the reasons the agreement allows, such as a price change, work held up for more than 30 days, a serious breach, or my being unable to work. If it does, the founding price ends with it, nothing already discounted is ever charged back, and it does not carry over to a later plan. Everything else, including refunds, works exactly as it does for any plan.
When it ends
When the fifth place is taken. There is no closing date: the number of places left is shown on the pricing page, and the offer comes off the site the day the fifth agreement is signed. Every agreement already signed keeps its six founding months.
