How it works

Simple, written down, and the same every time

You’ll always know what happens next, what it costs, and who is doing it.

  1. 1

    A conversation

Thirty minutes, free. Your business, what you want more of, and an honest view on whether I can help.

  2. 2

    Where you stand

Every client starts here. When the answer isn’t obvious, that’s the Diagnostic: a day finding out exactly where you stand. When the brief is already clear, like a new website, the proposal sets it out in writing instead.

  3. 3

    A proposal

In writing within two business days of our call, or of presenting the Diagnostic. One recommendation, a fixed price and a start date. No menus, no pressure.

  4. 4

    The work

Done by me. Projects move in stages you approve; ongoing plans run on a monthly rhythm.

  5. 5

    The letter, or the handover

On a plan, a live dashboard, a short email every Monday and a one-page letter every month. On a project, a clean handover at the end. Either way, you know where you stand.

A person, not a scan

I use your website the way a customer would, call your business, test twenty of the questions your customers ask the AI tools, and work out why three named competitors are being found instead of you.

Presented in person or on a video call. Yours to keep, with me or without me. Credited in full if you go ahead with a project or plan within 90 days, and refunded if it doesn’t find at least three things worth fixing.

IYour website: speed, clarity, and how easy it is to get in touch
IISearch: what Google can see, and where you appear
IIIAI search: who ChatGPT, Gemini and Google’s AI recommend
IVGoogle and maps: your profile and your map position
VReviews: how many, how recent, how answered
+The enquiry test: what really happens when a customer calls or writes

A month on an ongoing plan

Week 1Your numbers checked and this month’s three priorities set. In your first month, this is also when you add me to your accounts (never a password), and I set up tracking and measure everything as it stands, so any progress is measured, not claimed
Weeks 2 and 3The work. Anything new that goes public is sent to you to approve first; routine review replies follow the voice we agree
Week 4Your one-page letter arrives on its usual date, then we meet for 45 minutes
QuarterlyA longer look ahead, and whether your plan still fits, including when it should be smaller

How a website gets built

Four to six weeks for a site of up to eight pages, when each approval comes back within two business days. Every stage is signed off before the next, so there are no surprises at the end.

  1. Discovery: 90 minutes on your business and customers
  2. Plan: every page, and what each one is for
  3. Words: written by me, in your voice
  4. Design: your home page and one inner page
  5. Build: the whole site on a private link
  6. Your review: one round of changes
  7. Launch, then training, and 30 days of fixes

When it’s paid for, the site, the words and the design are yours. The domain is in your name from the start.

What I need from you

  • Access to your accounts as a user, a two-minute click each. Never your passwords
  • One person who can approve work
  • Feedback within five business days when I send something
  • Honesty about what’s working in your business and what isn’t

What I use, and what I don’t

I use AI tools for research, first drafts and analysis, and I say so. I edit, check and own every word, every new page and post is approved by you before it goes live, and your private information never goes into a tool that learns from it.

I don’t use templates with your name swapped in, bought reviews, or anyone you haven’t been told about. The person you talk to is the person who does the work, and if a specialist is ever needed on part of a build, I tell you in writing first.
